Pursuant to ORC 4781.22, a dealer/broker must notify the Commission immediately upon the termination of employment of any licensed salesperson. Failure to do so may result in fines or penalties.
Dealer/Broker/Salesperson License must be displayed at all times.
Selling 5 or more homes within a 12 month period requires a dealer license from our agency. Renting/leasing homes for own is equivalent to selling a home. If you are doing 5 or more of those types of deals within a 12 month period you must have a dealer's license.
If you sell homes by any means other then cash, you more then likely fall within the SAFE Act guidelines and must be licensed through the Department of Commerce in addition to your dealer's license. For more information contact your legal counsel or click here
